New UD conversion of the Index Thomisticus Treebank
On 15th November Universal Dependencies (UD) released version 2.3 of its set of annotated treebanks. As per their announcement:
Universal Dependencies is a project that seeks to develop cross-linguistically consistent treebank annotation for many languages with the goal of facilitating multilingual parser development, cross-lingual learning, and parsing research from a language typology perspective.
Thanks to the work of our very own Flavio M. Cecchini and Marco C. Passarotti, and of our Czech colleague Dan Zeman (Prague), UD now includes a new and improved conversion of the Index Thomisticus Treebank (IT-TB). 🤠 This edition of the Latin treebank consists of texts by Thomas Aquinas, specifically books 1, 2 and 3 of the Summa contra Gentiles, and of concordances of the lemma forma found in some of his other works.
